To enhance my resume, I used two separate prompts to create resumes for different professions. First, I attached my resume and gave the following prompts:

For this resume, create an alternate version that would best be suited for a job in Finance. Try to follow the original format as much as possible. Please feel free to change any aspect of the resume to make me better fit as a candidate.
For the same resume, create an alternate version that would best be suited for a job in Marketing, preferably a company listed in the Fortune 500 List. Try to follow the original format as much as possible. Please feel free to change any aspect of the resume to make me better fit as a candidate.

I structured my prompt in this manner to ensure that AI clearly understood the two separate objectives for each resume. I made sure to carry out these two prompts individually to make sure there were clear, concise differences between the two. Overall, I learned how vital prompt engineering is when creating differentiable types of media. This endeavor showed how small adjustments in wording can significantly influence the content that is being generated.
